The U.S. Supreme Court finally did something right: they declared Washington DC's handgun ban as unconstitutional. This is a HUGE win for us pro-freedom folks.
In case you haven't been following the case, here's a brief summary:
Washington DC banned all handguns within city limits claiming that the Second Amendment right to "bear arms" was about state militia and not personal freedoms. Luckily the Supreme Court had the brains to understand that the Second Amendment was talking about individual rights.
Of course, it is pretty scary that four Supreme Justices voted against the ruling (as opposed to the five who voted for it)… That's a pretty close margin… but at least it past. 
BTW – It looks like Montana doesn't have to withdraw from the nation after all.
